Langstone Technology Park in Havant, is hosting the 32nd Hampshire Health Safety and Environmental Group (HHSEG) Conference entitled, ‘Leadership for Health, Safety and the Environment’.
This bi-annual conference is the highlight in the HHSEG calendar and this year attracts an impressive line up of eminent speakers from leading organisations including: Martin Baxter, Executive Director Policy and Engagement IEMA and Steve Granger, Past President IOSH. The day will offer guidance on successful health, safety and environmental management in the workplace, legislative changes, leadership and liability. It also incorporates HHSEG Awards.
The Major of Havant will open the conference and as HHSEG President, Gary Medlow of Fasset will deliver the last session, ‘Leadership and Management Systems’.

The conference hopes to attract health, safety and environmental professionals from across the region from both public and private sectors; and is open for registration.
The HHSEG is a membership organisation, with the purpose of promoting best practice and business excellence amongst health, safety and environmental professionals. The group also considers and advises on legislation and regulation; and advises on how best to interpret, implement and influence initiatives. With over 70 members representing both private and public sectors, they have a full programme of monthly meetings, discussion topics and guest speakers.
