Langstone Technology Park helps mend broken hearts Created on 20/03/2013 13:53:00
The good news is that, these days, more of us are surviving heart attacks. The bad news is that increasing numbers of us are then left with badly damaged hearts and heart failure. That’s why Langstone Technology Park, which offers office space for rent in Havant, is continuing to support the British Heart Foundation (BHF) for the second year running:
- Members of the Fasset team at Langstone Technology Park themselves have already taken part in the South Downs Challenge (23 February 2013), raising much needed funds for the cause and some are also in training for the London Marathon in April for BHF.
- BHF collection boxes have also been placed in the reception areas and workers at the Technology Park are being encouraged to donate any unwanted gifts, quality clothes and bric-a-brac for sale in the local BHFcharity shop. All funds raised will go to BHF’s ‘Mending Broken Hearts’ Appeal which helps their groundbreaking research programme itself hoping to end the suffering caused by severe heart failure, forever.
- BHF is also planning a volunteer recruitment event at Langstone Technology Park in April to increase numbers of helpers in store and at their many events. Click here to find out how you can be involved with The British Heart Foundation.
Last year, Langstone Technology Park staff and tenants together raised over £12,000 for the BHF and are looking to beat that target this year. To find out more about the managed office space in the Portsmouth area available at Langstone Technology Park, call 0239 249 7603 or email us now.
