Round the Harbours

by Martyn Randell on 10 June 2013 09:49

Did anyone participate in the BHF Round The Harbours bike ride at the weekend? Our own Langstone Technology Park was one of the venues - it looks glorious.

The organisers estimate that 1,300 cyclists took on  the challenge, the weather stayed fine and it was a huge success. The event is a massive fund raiser and great publicity for the charity - increasing awareness of the fantastic work it undertakes in the fight against heart disease.

Hopefully it has inspired a few more people to take to the saddle and even take on a challenge.

Well done to everyone.

My last Blog ‘It’s Our Responsibility to be Socially Responsible’ about Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) really got me thinking about how we realise return on investment for our activities and whether we as stakeholders need a re-education as to the importance of CSR in building our own sustainable future.
